Country music superstar Carrie Underwood said she is "doing great" after undergoing wrist surgery following a fall outside her Nashville home.

Carrie sustained a broken wrist, cuts and abrasions after the fall on Friday night, according to a statement from Schmidt Relations.

Carrie's husband and former NHL Nashville Predators Captain Mike Fisher was able to make it back into town and meet her at the hospital.

On Wednesday, Carrie tweeted that she underwent surgery and was thankful for everyone who has taken care of her.

Underwood was set to perform in Sunday's sold out Country Rising benefit concert in Nashville, but had to pull out due to the injury. The event benefited Hurricane recovery and Las Vegas relief efforts.
