GameStop to close more than 100 stores

PORTLAND, Maine (WGME) - It's "game over" for more than 100 GameStop locations across the country.

The company says it will be shutting down a number of its stores; as many as 190 locations could close.

The retailer currently runs more than 6,600 stores across the globe, including more than 4,000 in the U.S.

There are several locations in Maine, but the company has not said if those stores are affected.
